YAMJ to NMJ - few questions
Hi
I've always been YAMJ user, I used Ember media manager to download, and organize NFO, posters, fanarts...etc. for 300+ movies. Now, my question, to also use NMJ v2, what do I have to do? Can NMJ use same nfo, posters, fanarts images as YAMJ. Or do I have to start again form start. If yes, which program do I have to use? I would like to keep all YAMJ files so I can still use YAMJ. How to do that? Some files for YAMJ and some for NMJ in the same movie folder ?? Thank you for your help. Kind regards |

RE: YAMJ to NMJ - few questions
while waiting you can start to lookup the nmjv2 nfo and image support to see how close it is. Also I believe some of the tools may also scan in much faster than the nmj scanner with wider support. Especially since one of the tools is a yamj user who just happened to make a tool during original nmj beta and keeps supporting it still.
I can answer the dual question. yamj saves it's stuff in the jukebox folder. nmj makes it's own nmj_database folder. They don't overlap or interfere with each other from a file standpoint. |

RE: YAMJ to NMJ - few questions
Yes, but YAMJ also saves files (nfo, jpg...) to movie folder. Is this not correct?
After it scans all the movies, it generat jukebox folder with all needed info for running YAMJ. So I'm afraid that NMJ V2 can corrupt files which are in each movie folder. Is this not the case? Thank you. Kind regards I just found this thread: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=46094 but I don't know if I can still use this tool, it has quite old date (year 2010) ? Thank you. |

Is this not the case? someone who uses nmj would have to answer this, I do not know what nmj might do with your video files. |

RE: YAMJ to NMJ - few questions
I tried NMJ for movies and went right back to YAMJ. Way better, especially if you have non-English titles.
