Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
Is there any way to do this for a specific folder? I have a folder with PRIDE FC events in it. When I first ran YAMJ of course all of them came up very wrong with crazy movie titles in such. So I manually had to go in with YAYMan and change everything and even go in and edit some XML files individually because YAMJ would not change them after I fixed them. So after a couple of days I got that all fixed.
Now today when I added some movies to my jukebox and ran a scrap for some reason YAMJ decided to recheck all of my PRIDE FC events and they are all ruined. Needless to say I'm pissed. So is there a way to get it so YAMJ does not scrap that folder at all or can I make it so it searches with the MOVIEDB. |

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
If you only want it to use Moviedb change this line
mjb.internet.plugin=com.moviejukebox.plugin.ImdbPlugin to mjb.internet.plugin=com.moviejukebox.plugin.TheMovieDbPlugin then ti will only use moviedb |

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
Will that be for a specific folder or all of my movies?

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
it will be all movies. your other option is make an nfo file for each PRIDE fc video
with this inside it <movie> <id moviedb="themoviedb">1234</id> </movie> with 1234 being the number moviedb has for that show. so if you have pride fc 5 it would be pride fc 5.mkv then pride fc5.nfo with this inside it <movie> <id moviedb="themoviedb">24373</id> </movie> |

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
Thanks! I had tried that earlier buy putting in the whole url like you would for imdb to scrape and it just ignored it. Now I know how to do it right. Thanks again!

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
just putting themoviedb's url should have worked also but you found a solution already.

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
Ok so I finally got around to making info to all of the movies. And yet again even though I used your nfo guide yamj still scraped the videos with IMDB instead of themoviedb. I even deleted the xmls and still no dice. What gives?
Example: Here is my info for PRIDE 17... <movie> <id moviedb="themoviedb">24339</id> </movie> And this is the XML yamj produced... Code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>I was wondering why there is an IMDB code in there as well? |

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
Post #2 is what you need to scrape with tmdb rather than imdb

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
I thought you said that option 2 would work as well because I was telling YAMJ to scrape the MovieDB. Like I mentioned I only want it to scrape the MovieDB for that specific folder. Everything else works fine. Is this possible?

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
You can try the alternative plugin functionality and see if that works for you
http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/wi...ate.plugin with this value Code: com.moviejukebox.plugin.TheMovieDbPlugin |

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
Not what I had in mind. I guess its going to have to be a constant problem. If only you could create a code that could tell YAMJ not to scape a specific folder or specific movie.

RE: Search the MovieDB instead of IMDB
The using of tmdb instead of imdb for some media is actually a bug and not really a design. It's 50/50 if it'll work.
FYI: you could setup a temp jukebox, use tmdb to scan in those titles and setup yamj to export nfo files. Then you'll just need to move them from the jukebox to your media files and then run your normal yamj set to imdb. Of course you can also use a media manager like ember to just make nfo files and artwork for those folders. |

Just put a ".mjbignore" file in the folder and that folder and all files/subfolders will be ignored. Actually, that's "not scanning" not "not scraping". However, for a single movie, in the NFO file you set Code: <movie> |
