1.) Format an USB Stick with 2GB or more to ntfs,fat32 or ext3
2.) Plugin the Stick
3.) Now you can playback BD's with BD-J and BD Live

DVD Region Setting:
1.) Insert an DVD Disc which has the Region you wanna setup, if the Region is not the same as the Disc has, it wont work!
2.) Please go into the Setup Page
3.) press now "Slow, 1, 6, 8, 3" on your remote (SLOW means the |> Button on the Remote)
4.) now an popup shows up, on the remote use the number for the region you wanna set.

Why would it when there's nothing in the release notes?

The BD compatibility is not in this release it'll be in two-three weeks according to Syabas.

bug in this firmware ?
i can play just one music album from my jukebox.
When it is finished the c-300 is not responding to the remote anymore.
I have to reboot the device to make it respond again.

Hello all,

I was unable to do an online update.
When I did a search for new firmware in the C300 and it found the new update online, I have to press the green button to 'update firmware' however after pressing it, the C300 locked up completely.
Did a clean boot twice, no cure.
I have no CSI whatsoever running.

As a last resort I did the offline update and that worked with no problems.

Anyone else have that?

Again it was not mentioned in the release notes so why would you expect it to be fixed.

Subtitles are a total mess after the firmware before this one was released. The new languages seem to have caused problems with display and with incorrect characters. See Bug threads here:-

I'm very pleased with this firmware version. It makes my C-300 unit operate a lot faster. Before, it took quite a while (more than 1 min) to access a directory when it woke up (from standby) or going back to the root directory after playing a file. It's no longer the issue with this new firmware.

I can't get the update to work online it keeps crashing.

The C300 won't recognise the file on the thumb drive either despite it being formatted to ext.3

Any suggestions?

Dont format the thumbdrive to Ext use NTFS or FAT32. Then copy on your PC the updates files only, no folder.
