Wow, this update is worse than the one from a week or two ago.

My PCH is now locking up all the time and NMJ is not usable.

I guess I need to go back to the update that is well over a year old and live with it's issues.

Your router's subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.255? I think this could cause problems beyond just the Popcorn Hour. It should be set to 255.255.255.0

Now i see, this seems to be the WAN setting. In LAN i have 255.255.255.0.

Thanks. It appears to have fixed the DHCP/DNS issues for me; will perform some more thorough testing this week.

Can we have some update on the youtube/iplayer sound issues? If it just can't be fixed (eg hardware issue) could you let me know as I'm going to just go and get a HDMI audio tap to do the job. If a fix is in the pipeline them i'll hold off.

A lot have fixed up many different problems by doing a firmware recovery and making sure the firmware is no corrupted.

Thanks accident. I gave that a try but the same results.

I went back to the 2011 release;

Release Date : 27 May 2011
Firmware Version : 02-04-110519-21-POP-411-000

And it's back to "normal".

I'll stick with this one until the next release, if that should come before I get new equipment.

I was looking forward the last firmware, as all of us. I downloaded it and installed it as soon as possible. After installation everything works just fine.I close the A210(by remote). After ten minutes it can not see my home network(QNAP TS 412), and message Request cannot be processed appears. I have to reboot the A210 to see the QNAP again, but only for five or ten minutes. So I am back with the old 27 May 2011 fw again.

It would seem that nearly everyone is disapointed with the last two updates, me included.

It stopped me accessing my synology NAS via samba, so I switched to NFS.

The biggest issue for me is the HDMI signal is upsetting my LG television, as it powers off and back on it the popcorn hour is on, even if I am not actually watching it. I thought the TV had gone wrong, but now I have rolled back the firmware everything is stable again.

I was watching a movie and the TV power cycled and repeated this every 15 - 20 minutes. So I thought the TV had gone wrong, but watching a video through my PS3 with the PCH still on and connected to my matrix HDMI switch the TV continued to power cycle. Now I have reverted the firmware and everything is OK, the TV is stable and I can watch movies again.

I will wait for a more stable release, if it ever comes.

You need to contact LG, it is a bug in their dnla stack in the tv and you need an update from them. You can disconnect the network connection from the TV until you get that update to stop it from happening.

It's not just the pch that causes this, the pch just happens to be the unit you personally own.

I tried recovery 2x
first factory reset
firmware recovery
factory reset
and then i tried to the newest firmware (usb), he said "wrong kernel".
Even online update he said "wrong kernel"', ichecked everything but i had the right firmware and recovery firmware.
and after that Firmware Version : 02-04-110519-21-POP-411-000

and the movies like avchd and mt2s playing well again.

You have to flash to a newest firmware after the recovery.

Try 02-04-110308-21-POP-411-000 and then do the online update
