Anyone else have a lot of problems with DVD iso playability? After upgrade,it seems a lot of my previous working dvd iso´s will no longer play.

Either i get a black screen,and nothing happens, or i get 15 seconds of video with no audio, or the 3rd option,i get menu,but cannot navigate anything,and cannot start video.

Mind you,these files worked fine with the may 2011 fw i used before,and reason i havent noticed this problem before now is i rarely watch dvd´s anymore.

However, i would still like a working dvd iso support on my pch as i still have around 1000 dvd´s.

Could it be the new firmware has gotten more "strict" as to dvd file structure/VTS problems or the like?

^^ try a factory reset last time someone had iso issues i think fctory reset cleared them up

ERR029 means you hacked an app into your unit that isn't turning of.. remove the drive and then do the update.

After install the last firm (last little update) ALWAYS i turn on the popcorn never has net, only if i reboot again the popcorn has it. What can be wrong?.
The net configuration is AUTO WiFi/AUTO ip.

When turn on the popcorn is "connected to WiFi" (on the set up net i can see it) but it hasn't IP. If i reboot it has IP then. Why??

With all my iso's the pch is restart
ing. I tested the syabas testdvd 9 and there also the iso's were disfunctional.
So it is really the firmware.

My PCH hangs more; it conflicts with my AVCHD of my handycam files and with some ISO DVD files. It's a step back in my opinion.
Did everything as I was told: factory reset, reinstall aps, etc. Weird.

anyone having problems on their A200 not playing mkvs and mp4 files?
im also having the same problems
before the august firmware update i noticed some files wouldnt play on my a200
all i see on the tv screen is CANNOT PLAY
after the august 10 update, still the same problems
some mkvs and mp4s wont play.
is this problem connected to cinavia?
i have another media player - egreat R1-ii - and all files that wont play in my popcorn a200 plays here flawlessly

Updated from the configuration menu, working fine and fast. Files (MKV and AVCHD) no problems. Appstore looking much better. Only issuea I have is with the Youtube app. This one freezes, black screens so only workarount is to shutdown PCH. This app needs an update!

I updated to this version a couple of weeks ago. And i have no problems what so ever, everything plays, network is working fine. Great update

When the HDD goes to sleep mode (takes a few minute), the box freezes and nothing but shutting it down could change that :/

Ok, now, I've identified that the box freezes after a hour and a half when I play any kind of media. Weird. Anyone here has the same problem? Factory reset does nothing at all...
If this problem is not corrected in the next few weeks, it will mean for me to buy another media box. It's not usable this way.
If a tech wants to dig into it, I'm available to find a workaround

That does not sound like anything a firmware would fix might be time for an RMA
