DVD with menus issue

I have been setting up exercise boxsets on a A-300. I have experimented with different ways and had detemined the best way to accomplish this (due to fanart issues and display) was an ISO. I am having problems getting the A-300 to properly play the DVD ISO. I use yamj but it will also not play outside of yamj, just playing using the A-300 itself. So I am trying to figure out what to do next. I want to keep the menus. My A-300 has the latest firmware. An MKV works but I cannot figure out how to create an mkv and keep the menus. I guess I am looking for either a soution to playing dvd ISO's or a suggestion what format I could convert to yet be able to keep the menus.

If I do a dvd rip I am not sure how to properly set it up in order for yamj to properly recognize and display it. SO my pefernce is to create 1 single file (with menus), so I can properly name the file.
