NAS - RAID+Ext4
I use a NAS Thecus N5550 with 1 RAID10 formatted in ext4.
My Popcorn Hour A-200 / PopBox-V8 find the NAS but show no content via Samba and/or NFS. I have reformatted the RAID in ext3. Now I can read content. Question: Is it really impossible to read content via Samba or NFS from RAID - "ext4" with a Popcornhour and popbox V8 ? THX for your help! |

it does not matter what format the samba share is, samba does the computing on the filesystem to put it into nfs/samba readable, does not matter if its NTFS,EXT4,ZFS,reiserfs I would say most of is are using EXT4

I think you had a permission problem that went away when you reformated the nas..
