Oh, It wrote over my new background and put the original back when i ran the program again. How do i stop that happening?

Don't have the media player yet but I'm setting it up the jukebox now.
Once i get the media player will i be able to just copy all the jukebox and movie files to the internal HDD, and from then on just change the location of my movies drive in the gui to the new internal HDD for updates etc or do you have to copy the contents from your pc to the media players HDD each time you want to update it?

- if your libraray is on PC , your pc has to be ON in order to stream to your PCH.

I've decided to go with my library on the PCH internal HDD. This install worked magically for me! thanks! Got a few questions however:

- how does this know what's a tv show and what's a movie? (under genres) Can this be modified by me?
- some of the titles/pictures came up wrong. How can I go about amending this?
- If I put more movies on the hdd, how I get these into the Jukebox menu?

Thanks for the great GUI app for YAMJ.

YAMJ is capable of linking multiple paths in the libraries.xml. Can you at least make TWO available in your GUI? BDrip is large, and one HDD could not hold all the movie collections. Appreciate it! (PCH uses small mobile 2.5" HDD to keep quiet, use NAS for rest of the collections.)

You GUI could only handle one path/drive currently, right?

This looks awesome. But does it work on Vista 64? During the installation of LightTPD, I get a message from Vista that it didn't install well and that I should try it again with recommended settings. I allowed that and then it installed without error.

Then, when trying the GUI, I get this message:



Somebody that can help?

PS: if d:/flicks/hdtv is the folder I would like to share, then the root is http://192.168.x.x/d:/flicks/hdtv right?

I am such a noob at this stuff. I want to play all my files from my pc.
Location of your movies directory:
d:/movies/
Now for "Set Default NMT path:"
I don't know what this means ? like does it mean the actually means ? Does it mean where my PCH is and how I located it from my PC ?.
like my pch can access the directory on my pc via this SMB;/goose/movies
so if I select SMB do i have to edit it from this
file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/[SMB] MEDIA:movies/ to this
file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/[SMB] goose:movies/
???
