Failed to download error

hi,

trying to download fanart - searches and comes up with a list of subtitles, select ok to download and eventually comes up with "Failed to download (ERR12)"

Any ideas?

You'll have to give us a bit more detail.

Are you connected to the internet with the player? how?
Network settup?
Where are the files?
Etc.

Try NMJv2ToolBox as its quicker than using the players remote to add fanart etc.

Had this myself last night.
It seemed like a problem with TheTVDB server; I had trouble connecting to their site with my PCH, NMJToolbox and my PC. Repeated attempts eventually succeeded.
Server overload, methinks.

thetvdb just moved their servers and actually posts in the forum saying they can't really afford to keep running it and might need to close..

Kind of confusing since the dollar amount they talk about needing should be what and single commerical product using their site should be paying.

yes internet.......it finds the fanart, but fails on the download. Static ip, connected via ethernet to a switch. I have NAS which contains the movies and the NMJ database......connected to the same switch.
