PCH A-110 does not connect via WN-100 dongle (in N mode)
Hi,
I have PCH A-110. It is connected to my home network with original Wi-Fi "N" dongle WN-100 (via rear A-110 USB connector). Recently I changed my "G" wi-fi router (D-Link DI-524) to a new "N" router (TP-Link TL-WR841N). When my new router is set to "Mixed b/g/n" mode (WPA2) then I cannot access my PCH A-110 from my laptop or Android phone neither via FTP nor Samba nor Transmission. Though PCH A-110 shows as connected to router via Wi-Fi when router is in "Mixed b/g/n" mode and I can ping it from my laptop. Following servers are running on my PCH A-110: Samba, FTP, Torrent. As soon as I switch my TP-Link router to "Mixed b/g" or "G only" mode I can access my PCH A-110 via FTP, Samba and Transmission. All works like a charm. ![]() What could be wrong? I understand that WN-100 is "N" adapter so it must work with my new N-router. I also tried "Mixed b/g/n" mode without any security but still in vain. Thanks! |
