[YAMJ] Movies not playing

After big help from Accident, I finally got my C200 back to work with NMT apps. I now have a USB-stick with the apps on it and a normal drive inside as my library.

I downloaded the newest YAMJ to make a new jukebox. Works great, except for not playing the movie.

I read through all the posts and tried everything. Even read Accidents extensive manual on unix paths (where I found out that my disk has a strange long name), but nothing helped.

Here is my library:

From davidbox I got the name:

It must be something with the path I guess, but I can't seem to fix it. Can anybody help me a bit further.

Did you have a jukebox before changing the path to that? There's a bug in yamj in many versions where it doesn't always update the path if that's the only change you made to the settings..

Open any xml file and look at the end where it says fileURL, if the fileurl doesn't look like the correct path to the exact file, then you'll want to delete the xml and html files in the jukebox and re-run yamj to recreate them with the correct url.

A trick is to test only 1 or 2 movies if you have a lot, delete just those and yamj will run faster, then test the same videos. once you find a working path then you can delete all of them and let yamj recreate the jukebox for everything.

Hi accident,

No I made a fresh start. Backed up some movies and put that on the hard disk. Downloaded a new YAMJ and ran that. When it went wrong I read your manual and started over again. Deleted al files. Changed settings and reran YAMJ cmd. Rebooted the nmt but it didn't work. In the XML files it seemed oke. It points to the right directions. I post an excerpt tomorrow.

oh Film_1 is the drive name... that path is wrong..

Try one of these:
- file:///Film_1 <-- try this first
- file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/SATA_DISK_20B03825B03803B61

If the jukebox is stored on the drive than also try if needed:
- ../
