Why can't the C-200 play 3d blu ray rips or 3d iso?
Is this a limitation of the hardware or software? Is there a plan to make it work in the future? |

Hardware, Sigma are supposed to be releasing their first full3D chip with Syabas soon.
No chance on the 200 or 300. Only half resolution SBS/TAB 3D will play if in 3DMKV container. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

3D is kind of a generic term. There's a lot of different 3d formats so you really need to shop around for a unit that does the ones you need at minumum. Most of those players are being introduced for future sale this weekend at the IFA trade show. sites like mpcclub or avsforums will have more rounded news of new hardware coming out soon.
