Hi!
I just bought an old PCH A-100 and I can't seem to play my .srt-files that I use with .mkv-files, is this a common problem? The .srt-files are named exactly like the .mkv-files and lies in the same folder, but it just won't work... :-( My Samsung TV plays them without problems, but the PCH A-100 just don't. Is there some setting in the PCH that I've missed, or is there some other way around this? |

Maybe that you allready came up with this yourself, but is there a subtitle button on your remote where you can turn on the subs?

RE: .mkv + .srt not possible?
You must set a subtitle language in Settings > Preferences. Then when in playback the subs must be named the same and you should see them.
If not then checkout then file and subs with mediainfo and post the results. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: .mkv + .srt not possible?
Just replace any paths with a couple of spaces in them at the beginning to make it allow them.
It's temporary whilst you move from Newbie to Forum Member, takes around a week. Spambots have caused us to stop new members posting urls to spam site on viagra or whatever. Thanks anyway! ![]() (09-03-2012 12:43 AM)chris57 Wrote: You must set a subtitle language in Settings > Preferences. Then when in playback the subs must be named the same and you should see them. I did that too, but it didn't make any difference until I rebooted the PCH. Now most/some subs work! Thanks! BTW, does this mean I have to rename all subs to .swe.srt instead of just .srt? |
