Video Quality Issues
I just sat down and upgraded my A200 to the latest firmware and apps, after not using it for about 6 months. Settings are factory default, including "auto" for video output resolution (I did see the sticky for this). I'm using a Panasonic TC-P42G25 over HDMI. I'm seeing a few issues, namly the picture jumps up and down a few pixels perhaps once every few seconds (resync?) and I also get video artifacts, like red pixels occasionally and even actual video glitches. The sound that comes over the HDMI cable is also having dropouts. Sometimes this is worse than other times, so I didn't know if the amount of time the unit was turned on is a factor, or not.

So, first, any recommendations on what video resolution should be for my set? Second, any other options I should play with?

Thanks!

RE: Video Quality Issues
I think you damaged your HDMI cable. Go and buy a cheap cable to test.

As for your second question, you should use 1080P/60 for video output and ntsc/24p for framerate sync.
If your TV supports 50hz you could also use ntsc/pal/24p

Because you have trouble with 60p, it is better to temporarily use 1080i/60 for video output, until you solved the cable issue.

Be aware that if you use 1080i/60 your NMT will not switch to 24 but will output 24p content as 1080i/60, by using a process called 2:3 pull down, causing a small judder artifact.

RE: Video Quality Issues
Correction, your TV does not seem to support 24p, so don't use that setting.
