Nice application. Some questions though. I'm using Juliens Yet Another Movie Jukebox, YAMJ and you mentioned that Julien had altered his code to fit your front code. Where's the link for that?
How could I use the generated detail pages and front covers from YAMJ? I don't wanna use MOC.

Try to get some clarification:

1. It only works with Collectorz.com's Movie Collector for now (before Julien modifies his code to fit in), right?
2. It requires beta FW, which we have no access to it yet, right? (or how to access the beta FW) Thx

2. No, it works with the current firmware...some features he has planned for the future only work with the beta firmware.

Sorry to the people who were having movie link problems. When I tested the new details page I only tested the playlist function (for two part movies) I didn't even think to check to see if everything else was still working.
Is anyone still having problems?

Alrighty the new stuff works fine.

2 obsverations though.

1. I notice you're pulling the file name from the MOC "description", which i guess is fine for most people, but any of us who use or had been using Legions templates are kinda/sorta screwed. Because we've been changing all the description from the file name to "Play Movie". So all my href's end up looking like

Which I mean ultimately is my problem and not yours...but i'm just commenting.

Personally i'm gonna look into having the code parse the path and pull the file name outta there much like Legion's...just so i don't have to go change all my descriptions. Wether i'll be successfull or not remains to be seen . Again, not really your problem...just commenting.

2. This one actually may or may not be a problem. If i sort by "All" and scroll to the right a few times (like 3 times roughly). My screen goes black and the PCH locks up, I was scrolling quickly and doing so before the screens completely loaded up if that matters. But if its not that then I'm not sure if its because i overload the buffer like that other thread is talking about or what....but its happened two times in a row after testing it. So i'm not sure if anyone else is having that problem or if its just something with my setup.

Otherwise...looks good...works perfect...and I tested it out that JSP thing is very cool.

Other than that I have 600 movies with out problems and go as fast as I can ?

Hello Excal,

I have 600 movies and I am holding the button down and it is buffered ...
So when it gets to the last movie I let go and it take 10-20 seconds for the
remote keyboard buffer to empty ... then it is back to normal ...
If I hold down the button for a long time and the let go it will keep going
I held it down while I counted to 15 then let go and it kept moving for a count of ten ...

Seems like it has a buffer of about 15-20 key strokes ...

But It came back after I wait a few seconds for the buffer to clear...

Other than that no blank screen nothing like that ...

Very strange ???

Hmmm i'll test it out some more, i'm really not sure what the problem is.


And i'm just having some trouble getting it to pull the subdirectory before the file name.

I mean i see how you're doing it for movies...i'm not exactly sure why its not working with the music....but i got a few more ideas that i've yet to try.
