As a C-200 owner, I agree. I bought mine because of the stellar reputation of the A-100 I'd heard such good things about, and then felt like the flagship device I bought became a problem child for Syabas --issues blamed on Sigma and not resolved well, poor customer communication, long delays in software updates and still no update to the latest UI (with the old one being merely a "3" for usability).

I know there truly could be issues working with Sigma Designs, but the point is, that's not the customer's problem. That should have been figured out in the design and engineering phase prior to production, or worked out as a legal, contractual obligation to ensure Sigma provided the support on the chips supplied to Syabas, etc.

My Popcorn Hour C-200 has worked "okay". However, $299 would have gone a good portion towards building a home theater/media center PC that would have worked "excellent". I bought my C-200 so I didn't have to fool with that, and yet in the end, felt like "fooling with it" would have been easier. I'd like to see Syabas show me that they can deliver a device that doesn't make me want to build a home theater PC instead.

P.S. That's not including the fact that the MyiHome software hasn't been updated since 2009.

I can't give good score too, because of my experience with the C-200, the support, and the updates...
