I placed an order the an A300 yesterday. But now I am thinking for an extra $30 why not get the A400 when it comes out...

I don't plan on using it for 3d so is it worth the wait?

I wouldn't get a 300 unless full br menus is a must have.

Any word on GUI, or jukebox changes from the 300 series.

They are making all the hardware run the same framework. Now there will be some future features because of more cpu and graphics power that you may never see on the 300s. They've already said something big is coming for the a400 next year but haven't said what that is.

What bothers me is this all new A-400 player only has 512MB of memory. You really can't do that much with that small amount of RAM. And certainly can't run any intense applications or anything like that.

You're making all these assumptions, but have you actually used an A400 and seen whether any of the applications are especially memory-constrained vs. processor-constrained? Answer, no.

Until you've actually tried it, it's probably best not to keep harping on about it.
