no sound on some blueray rips....???

hi all,i got 4 movies in which i can hear the sound with no problems if i use vlc and my pc but after putting the movie on the popcorn hour c300 when i play the movie i hear no sound!

is there anything i can do to fix this problem?

at first i thought i made a bad rip but now that i tried with vlc im sure its a c300 problem!

what can i do?

What do they have in common?
Are they the only blurays you have tried or do some play OK? If so whats different between the two?

hi there,i played lots of other movies with no problems but for example i just got the departed which has dts hd mastered audio and i hear no audio,there are 2 audio tracks (italian and English) both dts hd mastered and i cant hear both tracks!

its pretty weird cause other bluray rips with dts hd mastered audio DO work!

my amplifier is an ONKYO 807 if this can be an usefull information!

There is a DTS-HD bug in the firmware that Syabas are trying to get a patch from Sigma to fix. If all of the files are DTS-HD that may be an issue. If however some are TrueHD then that's not the problem.

This DTS-HD bug has been longstanding now, kinda makes the Popcornhour a rectangular dust collector. Any idea on when it's likely to be fixed?

Dear All, I have the inverse problem! I mean, on my C-300, the DTS-HD, and Mastered HD sound working well, but the TrueHD not. All files are stored on HDD, the recevier is Onkyo 616. C-300 connected to the AVR via HDMI, AVR connected to the TV via HDMI.
When I started to play move with TrueHD, the picture choppy, tear. When I changed the audio track to other (Dolby Digital, DTS) picture getting normal, and sound nice.
Please share with me if there any help!
