RE: MPEG-2 PS Playback Limitations
that is typical of a file that does not have any header information in it. With no header information how is the player supposed to guess last frame to rr or a percentage to jump to.
To be able to access a ts file with rr/ff and jumping you need sequential header information for the whole stream, most likely your ts output program is not doing this. |

The reason I wish to use the rewind button is to review the past 5-10 seconds of video and/or audio, rather than the 30 seconds determined by the partial time seek function on the D pad. |

RE: MPEG-2 PS Playback Limitations
Try a QuickStream Fix on the file in VideoReDo. That might fix your file. I use VRD and save to MPG all the time, so it's not a an issue with the container.
C-200 + WD Scorpio Blue 500GB Seek first to understand, then to be understood. |

I think you will find that halfelite is right in that the rewind button as currently configured will not work on any VRD file output to MPEG-2 PS. There is an option to output to MPEG-2 M2TS which I have not tried yet. |
