If you have a network cable in try taking that out and rebooting the unit. See if that works.

You might want to check out this topic
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/viewtopic.php?t=759 If still doesn't work, try using different HDMI cable. |

BrownGhost Wrote:yeahhh.. the To Syabas: I hope this issue will be addressed in an upcoming firmware. Everytime I unplug the power to my PCH I have to remove the network cable before booting up, otherwise it will freeze after the Popcorn-sign with "Remember to always backup..." |

Are you actually sure the Popcorn is frozen? You stated the freeze occurs after the "Remember to backup..." splash screen - does that splash screen go blank?
One easy way to check is to FTP into the A100 (username 'ftpuser', password '1234' by default). I know - I know... don't try to actually ftp anything until the next update... Your specific issue is better reported in one of the Bug Report forums... |

The screen goes blank after the "Remember"-sign and then the unit does not respond to the remote control. I have no HDD inside so I cannot do any file transfers. It does answer to pings though. If I remove the network cable it boots perfectly every time. This problem only occurs during boot. No hangs elsewhere using SMB, HTTP etc. No problems with cable or router configuration either. |

Viera,
You might want to try pressing STOP button instead of unplug network cable. |

Brownghost,
Can you try Composite NTSC or PAL first ? Press TVMode + 1 (NTSC) or TVMode + 2 (PAL), when the video goes blank after the bootup loading screen. Once you get an output on Composite, goto Setup -> Audio / Video and set it to the HDMI resolution you want and do a Save. Sales: sales@syabas.com Tech support: support@syabas.com |

I wrote my problem in other post but now I'll try to be more detailed.
I read in other topic in the forum of various problems with the HDMI input; the solution, at least temporarily, was mainly to do so starting with the composite cable and then change settings in the setup. Yesterday evening, the first time with the Popcorn, seems to work well: TV Panasonic 42' PX700 Connecting the popcorn Cable HDMI I have no hard disk installed Window welcome blue, no detects the server (i have to setup). I do nothing else, when I go to change the resolution to 1080i/50 popcorn goes off and since then I can not have any video output even with the cable composite (yellow). If unplug the power cable, I always see the loading window, but pressing power button on remote control of the popcorn I can't see anything. I tried 3 other HDMI cable and another TV Sony Bravia with HDMI and composite cable. I left the popcorn disconnected all night but no change this morning. I don't have component cables. When I hit TV mode + # nothing seems to happen. Is there any other solution? Thanks. |

I think it's TV mode followed by, not both at same time.
Took me a couple of attempts to get it. |
