Automated tool to convert DTS to AC3 (windows) *New Version and Batch Conversion*

I'm glad there are more apps that do dts to ac3 conversion.

I'm officially dropping any support for this app. I just dont have the time to maintain it and quite frankly there are cheap dts capable players available now. Wouldn't you rather just spend a couple bucks than worry about converting files?

If anyone wants the source let me know. It's written in vb .net.

If anyone needs an automated script to run on windows, I created a python version of mkvdts2ac3 which will run on windows or linux:

github.com/dcthomson/mkvdts2ac3.py (sorry, can't make the link clickable without 10 posts)

You'll need to install python, mkvtoolnix and ffmpeg to get it all working.

As I have just completed it, let me know if there are any feature requests, or any bugs.

Was it the version at: https:// github.com/dcthomson/mkvdts2ac3.py that you tried?

If so, can you post the errors you are getting?
