NMJToolbox2 - Win. Editor for NMJv2 2,3 & 400 v1.5.2.9 Update 14/03/14 [PART 2]
Many thanks to the following people for sending me their media.db files.

Rycky
aabbc189
stefanvverk
nzdude &
Chris57.

This version will allow you to view and amend details on movies, TV shows and Music.
You can change any of the 3 images for all movies and shows and 2 images on music.
You can move Movies to TV shows and TV episodes to movies.
Information and images for movies can be retrieved from TheMovieDB automatically.
Information and images for TV Shows can be retrieved from TheTVDB automatically.
MediaInfo is Enabled when adding movies, TV Shows & music.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You MUST set the paths/options in the settings window before adding images or new media files. A lot of changes have been made that rely on these settings.

If you have a path displayed in the PCH_PATH column, set the WINDOWS_PATH column to a value that would take you to the exact same folder that the PCH sees. If there is no PATH shown you can leave it blank.

Set the DB & Media options to the relevant setting of where your DB & Media are stored.

I will keep adding features with each incremental release. Feel free to feedback in this thread on:

Things that don't work or work as you would expect.
Usability or lack of in terms of interface.
Things not updating or saving.
Errors that occur.
Anything you have updated but do not get reflected in the NMJ
If you have auto update on for the NMJ, does it overwrite your changes?
Any features you would like to see.

NOTE: the SQLite dll used in the original NMJToolbox is OLDER than the one used for NMJToolbox2. You need to use the newer one from the link below. (the mediainfo DLL is the same though).

Have fun!

Rom.

Added/Changed

Fixed

Moving a movie to new TV series in some cases creates the episode name as the full file path rather than just a name.
Changing the series TTID then moving away and back does not save the changed ID (Display issue)
Fixed unnecessarily downloading images twice in some circumstances.
In some circumstances the rating overlay is out by 1 (half a star)

1.5.2.3 - 10/11/13

Notes on Virtual Clone Drive:  If installed, NMJToolbox2 will automatically mount ISOs to the FIRST drive in the list assigned to Virtual Clone Drive.  It will un-mount anything already mounted on that drive.  So if you are using it for other things, try to use another drive letter other than the first one.  Of course, if a branched BD ISO is mounted mediainfo can take a VERY long time to scan the disc - NMJToolbox2 has NOT hung, it is waiting for mediainfo to finish!

Added/Changed
Stopped some unnecessary mediainfo queries when using the 'TMDB/TVDB Images' button.
Added support for mounting ISOs for mediainfo (you need to have Virtual Clone Drive installed - http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html)

Fixed
Bulk overlays not applying TrueHD overlay when reported as 'TrueHD / AC3'
After Mass Overlay adding, the selected nodes images are not updated on the display.
Hitting Delete to remove an entry from the treeview whilst it is still populating causes an exception.
When adding a movie with the scanner and the rating has a decimal point and ratings overlays is on, no rating overlay added.
Exception with mediainfo update on runtimes in some cases.
Mediainfoupdate on a video file when the movie has the wrong time does not update the database.
Stopped querying unnecessarily with mediainfo when selecting images for an existing entry and audio overlays are not turned on.
Ratings overlays rounds the rating incorrectly in some cases when using the Select Images button.
Querying the MovieDB and cancelling the select then re-querying may cause an exception.

1.5.2.2 - 03/11/13

NOTE: French users using the French UI need to re-download the fr language pack.

Added/Changed
Added rating add facility to mass overlays
Added  rating facility to the right click menu on images.
When changing to French UI language, 'Word for Season' is set to 'Saison'.

Fixed
Rating overlay not selected if rating is zero.
Drag & drop a movie file to another movie entry when no previous movie has been selected (immediately after opening NMJToolbox2), an exception is generated.
Adding a TV episode to an existing series (when you have bad naming practices - hegyre ;) ) does not name the episode with the actual episode name from theTVDB.
Drag Drop an image updates the DB and image but does not always display the new image in the picture boxes.
Episodes detail screen in French, width box in the wrong place.
Changing UI language whilst on the TV tab disables the Query TVDB toolbar button until you move to another tab & back.
Drag/Drop one movie video entry to another sometimes does not update either/both movies' runtime.

1.5.2.1 - 28/10/13

Added/Changed

Fixed
Display error changing the season number of a TV season and the title contains an apostrophe.
Scanner on some systems (Windows 8/8.1?) scans the bdmv\backup\playlist folder rather than the bdmv\playlist folder and ends the scan prematurely.

1.5.2.0 - 27/10/13

Notes on mass overlays:
Depending on how many movies you have and how you connect to the nmj_database folder the mass overlays window may take a fair amount of time to display.  The reason for this is that it loads ALL of your movie posters so that you can see the current cover to determine if you need/want to apply an overlay.  As overlays are added the image is updated in the list.

You can tick individually, <ctrl> click or <shift> click to select multiple items at once.  If multiple items are selected the state of the last checkbox clicked will change all of the ones selected to the same.

For reference on my main database the Mass Overlays screen takes approx 2.5 minutes to display over wi-fi (ac) for 1500 movies.

Added/Changed
Added facility to add overlays en-masse (movies only for the moment).  Will use current overlays settings.
Added facility to manually add an audio overlay to poster and thumbnail (both added at same time, right click the image)
Added facility to manually add an overlay to an existing image without replacing or redownloading (right click, uses overlay settings.)
Added functionality for ratings overlays.
Enhanced the function for querying BDMV folders for the movie file (some discs have repeated menus detected as the movie)
Added a setting for keeping the aspect ratio of coverart.  It is recommended to turn OFF (if you use overlays) as the dimensions of internet cover art is not guaranteed and can make Overlays process incorrectly.
Moved mediainfo grabbing to after display of image selection screen to speed up display.

Fixed
Handled multiple bad null data being sent from theMovieDB in it's JSON dataset.
Clean Image Paths generates an SQL error when trying to clear music paths.
Exception generated if orphaned records in the database and 'Fill missing images' is run.
Fill in missing images and select default images not working properly on titles with a colon in them.
Fixed no audio overlay if mediainfo reports multiple audio streams split with /
Fill missing video images broken on TV shows
Going into the Overlays settings screen before setting them up and pressing Cancel causes an exception
Thumbnail overlays not being used, uses main images.

1.5.1.12 - 20/10/13

Added/Changed
Added AAC to the audio overlay detection.
Speeded up Fill in missing video images when overlays are off
When ISO type and file has [3D] tag in the name assume it is BluRay.

Fixed
Handled bad null data being sent from theMovieDB in it's JSON dataset.
Select images on a DVD folder rip picks up the wrong .IFO and may return incorrect or no audio codec.
Select images on a bluray folder rip causes an error when audio overlays are enabled.
Error with SQL in Fill in Missing Video Images
Wrong resolution overlay on BD ISOs even when the resolution has been manually entered.

1.5.1.11 - 19/10/13

Added/Changed
Updated to mediainfo 7.64 dll
Added further scenarios to the 'Fix TV' function.  It will now fix missing series and mark as '(Added by Fix TV)' to the series name.
Added new facility to add overlays to poster and thumbnail images on TV and Movies (scan, drag & drop and manual select supported).
New Settings screen for 'Overlays' which allows defining of what images to add for what criteria.
Added Audio overlay facility

Fixed
Scanning fails on BD folder structures if the PLAYLIST folder/files are marked as read only.
Using the remote to play a multiple file movie thinks it is a TV show and causes an exception
Adding a multipart movie and no results returned from The MovieDB causes and SQL error.

Notes on Overlays

The new overlay feature expects a folder called Overlays in your NMJToolbox2.exe folder.  In this folder it will currently look for the following images:

Bluray.png
dvd.png
FullHD.png
HD720.png
StdDef.png
aac.png
DDPlus.png
DolbyDigital.png
DTS.png
DTS_thumb.png
DTS-HD.png
Flac.png
MP3.png
ogg.png
pcm.png
TrueHD.png

Plus the same names with _thumb at the end for the thumbnail overlays.

The full size of the images are 330Hx220W for posters and 301Hx201W for thumbnails.
Any image smaller than this is fine but obviously will not cover all of the cover art.
All files should be png format
The overlays can have transparency and will be kept when overlaid on top of the cover.
In the new Overlays settings screen you can indicate one of 9 positions on the original image to place the overlay.

There are a few examples in the overlays zip file with some sub folders containing alternatives.  If you wish to use one of the alternatives simply copy it out of the sub folder into the main Overlays folder.

Feel free to create your own and submit onto the networked media tank NMJToolbox2 Overlays thread if you want to allow others to use them or would like them adding to the example package that is available for download from nmjoolbox.net.

RE: NMJToolbox2 - Win. Editor for NMJv2 2,3 & 400 v1.5.0.8 Update 8/7/13 [PART 2]
Hi again. So, i was troubleshooting my problem that I posted on in your Part1 Thread (where the movie images were not downloading for 5 random files like the Matrix). I just added two films tonight, Cars and The Hunger Games. I opened up the DB file, clicked add movie for both, everything seemed fine regarding the text and IMDB/TMDB info. But then I suffered the same image download problem. Screenshot attached. Both new movies that I was trying to add.

So, I had the NMJ on the PCH scan them and add them, and THEN edit them in the NMJ2 toolbox with zero issues (meaning I can change fanart and posters etc and save the db). Any thoughts about what could be causing this problem? I can't help but think I am pretty close to figuring this out, can't quite put my finger on what I am not doing correctly.

FYI, I did not suffer this problem when I was editing my DB locally. Meaning i copied the whole thing locally and worked on it, then copied it back. Currently the DB resides on the same drive as all of my media, which is a different location than where I run the NMJTB2 from.

Thank you again for the help if you have any ideas to troubleshoot with.

Your image link does not work but I will try to point you in the right direction...

Firstly you should never copy your DB off the drive it normally resides on, you should edit it wherever the NMJ has put it. It should work but it can introduce unforseen issues.

When you click the TMDB Images button does it have a selection for you to choose from?

In the Settings->Paths window what do you have in there for the PCH_PATH and WINDOWS_PATH?

When one of the highlighted films (eg Cars) is selected, does it go to the entry for Cars on TheMovieDB when you click the 'Q' button next to the 'Content ID' field?

When one of the films is highlighted, hover your mouse over the image and look at the path that pops up in the tooltip. Then highlight a movie that is OK and do the same. Do the paths look the same apart from the image file name on the end?

If all else fails if you send me your media.db and your nmjtoolbox2.parameters file I will look to see if I can find anything wrong.

Crap sorry about that. I can see the image just fine for some reason in this thread, even shows up in your quote of my post, figured everyone could see it. Here is the direct link.Error Image

(07-11-2013 10:07 AM)Rom Wrote:  Firstly you should never copy your DB off the drive it normally resides on, you should edit it wherever the NMJ has put it. It should work but it can introduce unforseen issues.
Understood. I ran a test and it worked perfectly so I had no reason for concern. Won't pursue that again.

(07-11-2013 10:07 AM)Rom Wrote:  When you click the TMDB Images button does it have a selection for you to choose from?
On the movies with an error? No. That is precisely the moment at which the error image appears, three times (one for poster, one for thumbnail, one for wallpaper). On the movies with no error, yes. Functions as normal.

(07-11-2013 10:07 AM)Rom Wrote:  In the Settings->Paths window what do you have in there for the PCH_PATH and WINDOWS_PATH?
This is a small concern, and maybe the source of issues for me. I do not have anything in the paths. My SOP is to open up the database file on a shared mount. And it just works. Or rather it used to. But apparently not now because I am doing something wrong. I thought this wasn't actually a problem due to this:
Quote:Q. When I go into the Paths screen in NMJToolbox2 theere is nothing entered in the PCH_PATH colum, so what do I put in the WINDOWS_PATH column.
A. Simple answer, nothing. This is indicating that the media is on the same drive as the database and NMJToolbox2 will interpret it as such. However, you must still set the 2 dropdown boxes to their correct settings otherwise your artwork will not display.

(07-11-2013 10:07 AM)Rom Wrote:  When one of the highlighted films (eg Cars) is selected, does it go to the entry for Cars on TheMovieDB when you click the 'Q' button next to the 'Content ID' field?

Yes

(07-11-2013 10:07 AM)Rom Wrote:  When one of the films is highlighted, hover your mouse over the image and look at the path that pops up in the tooltip. Then highlight a movie that is OK and do the same. Do the paths look the same apart from the image file name on the end?
yes, that is correct.

(07-11-2013 10:07 AM)Rom Wrote:  If all else fails if you send me your media.db and your nmjtoolbox2.parameters file I will look to see if I can find anything wrong.

It is getting pretty late now. Re-reading your "how to",there is a specific note you make that I did not pay attention to and may be the source of my problems. Before I take up anymore of your time I want to correct this for my situation:
Quote:Q. Does NMJToolbox2 support UNC paths (eg \\<servername>\<folder> etc.)?
A. Yes, however due to the way NMJToolbox2 works if you get the path right but not the exact case in the path, any additions of new media or changes in artwork may not be added correctly.

For this reason it is recommended to map windows drive letters to all of your shares/drives and use these in NMJToolbox2.

I was using a mount point, not a mapped network drive as you recommended. Let me try that update tomorrow and report back. I have a feeling this is my problem.

RE: NMJToolbox2 - Win. Editor for NMJv2 2,3 & 400 v1.5.0.8 Update 8/7/13 [PART 2]
Hi Rom

First of all, thanks for this piece of software. I've some trouble that the TB2 is not recognizing all directories. I've several directories, some of them are mounted.. however, TB2 ignore some of them. I've already tried to add them manually into the NMJToolbox2.parameters but it does not work. Any ideas?

OK, so what do you have in the Content ID field for 'Cars'? I have tmdb920 which is working fine for me.

Yes

Which is really weird, this would indicate your Content ID is correct but the image URLs that you are getting or the URL to get the URLs are wrong.... which I can't reproduce.

The error you are getting is not because of setup issues, it is purely down to accessing TMDB which is not anything that caan be changed in the configuration.

OK, so, I have found where the error message is trying to display the images. Can you go you the Cars entry, double click each of the image boxes. It will clear the entry for each of the image settings - then try the TMDB Images button.

You should never need to or edit the parameters file, it is fully maintained by NMJToolbox2.

I do not understand what you are trying to do. NMJToolbox2 will only scan directories that are present in the Settings->Paths screen AND have a corresponding WINDOWS_PATH entry that is valid. You cannot force it to scan folders that the database does not reference.

RE: NMJToolbox2 - Win. Editor for NMJv2 2,3 & 400 v1.5.0.8 Update 8/7/13 [PART 2]
Hi Rom

Thanks for the clarification. I understood that I should not change the parameter file manually.
I've several directories on my HDD.
1. Movies
1. TV Shows
2. ....
2. ....
3. ....
and so on ... in total 16 directories with TV Shows and Movies. The problem is that when I'm starting TB2 and look into the path settings I will see only some of directories but not all.

RE: NMJToolbox2 - Win. Editor for NMJv2 2,3 & 400 v1.5.0.8 Update 8/7/13 [PART 2]
Are they on different shares or the same share as your DB?

If they are different shares then you can add them using the multishare facility in NMJToolbox2.

If they are the same share (just directories that you have not added) then you should go into the NMJ Manager on your PCH and add these extra directories. Once added they will appear in the paths list in NMJT2 and you can then set the windows path to them.

If you click on the movie title you will be able to edit the "IMDB ID field" and the "Content Id Field" to be the accurate page ids. This is how I would correct anything that did not scan correctly from NMJ.

So for goodfellas I would go to IMDB.com and find this link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099685/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

The ID from that entry is the character-set that begins with "tt". So for Goodfells it would be tt0099685

Then you enter that number (tt0099685)into the IMDB ID field.

Same process with "Content ID" field. Only that comes from "theMovieDataBase.org". For goodfells that is here: http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/769-goodfellas

The ID from that entry is the number-set after /movie/. So for Goodfellas it would be 769.

Then you enter that number (tmdb769) into the Content ID field.

Save changes. Should update accordingly.
