Jukebox - Help Needed - Reward

Ok i'll send a 500gb hard drive to anyone who can help me. Desperate times!!

I purchased movie collector with the view of putting my lil jukebox onto my PCH. Problem is all the instructions are for PC not for mac. As a mac user i'm stumped. I'm new to all this stuff and can't for the life of me get it to work.

I need step by step instructions on how to get my lil jukebox working using a mac. If anyone can help me i'll send them a 500 gig hard drive. Thanks

Also...whats the difference between the mac and pc version of Movie collector?

ahh thanks for that mate. Posted in the jukebox section. Mac and Pc version of moc are different. Windows seems to be more advanced and following the my lil jukebox instructions is a bit hard when the mac version of moc is missing certain things.

Are you sure you bought the PRO version of movie collector? I believe the standard version does not have HTML export and some of the other features you need.

when I get a minute I will download the trial version and load it up on my mac. hopefully the trial is for the pro version.

yeah i have the pro version just all this stuff confuses the crap out of me. I can export my movie collection as html but have no clue what to do next and how to make it look nice like legions.

so what step on Legion's website are you stuck at? And which features are missing?

I installed the trail version on my mac. Everything you need is the version, in fact I think the mac version is better, atleast visually.

So, if you have outputted the html correctly, all you need to do is transfer it over to the popcorn hour's harddrive. Put it in the video folder, along with the images folder with backgrounds, buttons etc.

What do you mean by look nice? You need to edit the templates you downloaded from legion's website. You will need to use textedit. Than you can change what play button you want, or the background to make it look nice.

Since your on a mac, auto it scripting won't work. Autoit scripting outputs all the different genres so you don't have to individually do it. But since your on mac you will have to. Alternately you can install vmware, or bootcamp and load up windows.. but i guess that defeats the purpose of having a mac.
