when i use astraweb services i used the European server without a issue .

That did not work , when i use europe.news.astraweb.com i get this error:
Thu, 14 Jan 2010 11:25:28 +0000 Connection to europe.news.astraweb.com failed!: ErrNo 146, Resolver error
And when i use ssl-eu.astraweb.com i get the same error as with ssl.astraweb.com

I use ssl.astraweb.com in newslecher with encrypted server cónnection so i do not understand why it is not working here.

Edit: I got it to work with europe.news.astraweb when setting ssl to no, but since i have ssl news connection i would like that to work.

Can i get it to delete all the rar files after unpacking?

when nzb is downloading at full speed, sometimes I can't use the web interface because it times out
what is the command to pause the server via telnet ?

No of connections I choose at 6

You also have to amend the conf to YES for encrypted server.

Thx , I don`t know what i did wrong , properly the port number, but know it works
I can only get it to delete the par files not the rar files, is that possible?

my usenetclient is still on starting,but wont start.What am i doing wrong ?

If you have entert the right server info and pass/username in config. file then the only thing i can come up with is to try different server adresses , i have astraweb and have different servers to chose from.
I find that the usenet client in pch is quite unstable , one day it runs fine with one server adress and the next day it wont , so i use newslecher on my pc and then transfer the files, double work ,yes but i can max out my 20mb line this way.

thats what i always did,having a legal newsleecher account and hitnews payserver,this was just to make it more easy,pc don't have to be online all the time.
i have put in conf the right details,but it will not go further than stating and i cannot change that.

Well you have to at least tell us what you have done and what details you are entering. Obviously don't tell us your newsgroup server userid and password.

Are you using notepad++ to amend your details?
Are you using the default version or have you updated with the CSI?
As always any changes require a reboot to take effect.

Seriously the PCH is a godsend for me. I wake up each day to my TV downloads all downloaded, paired, and unrared via RSS feeds and feedtime.

i put in latest firmware of dec 10.
after that i installed nmt application.
i opened wsftp and went to /.nzbget and put in my details in conf by notepad.
in settings it is still on starting and not running.
I am sure i have put in the right details,using my newsserver for years,not any problem.

Right when you say by notepad do you mean notepad ++:-

You need a unix/linux text editor to amend the details.

Look at lines around 73 onwards:-

Save after amending and then reboot the C-200.

Open the webGUI by entering:-
http://192.168.1.xxx:8066/index.php5
Enter: nmt and 1234

then browse and add a nzb file.

See what happens now.

If it still sticks on starting then reinstall the NMT Apps:-

If it still sticks then start looking at your router firewall to ensure that the C200 has access.
Also look at your network setup, is everything else working such as internet radio etc. If not check your DNS settings and list your network settings and hardware.

You may be better starting a thread in the usenet section if this post doesn't start showing results. Few dedicated downloaders will be checking out this section.

I reinstalled NMT application,but it's still starting and not running.

Hi i have installed nzget, and when i download then i say in the config behind the dl file alternative dir example: video\test

All files are dl and unpackt in the video\test directory FINE.

Twen i install oversight and do the same as above, when ready there is no video\test on the end but al lot of numbert directorys 1 to 9 and in site it the same 1 to ? in one off that subdir is the dl file.

I do not like that where must a change is in oversight or in nzbget ?

When trying to read the the nzbget.conf files I accidently erased all maps (download, lost & found, music etc). I created new maps but how can I retrieve or download the nzbget.conf files ???
