the 1,1 designates the type of playlist...photo verse photo with audio (i'd have to double check that...but its something like that).

As far as the photos staying on screen thats a factor of the JSP file itself.

unfortunately...my tool is using the wrong format to adjust the timing of photos on screen.

the correct format of the jsp file should be

|0|0|Displayname|Path to file|

the first 0 is the number of seconds the image is to stay on screen.....if 0 is there, it defaults to like 6 seconds or something.

I know it sucks....i'm working on adjusting the Playlist generator to support both formats (becuase the format it uses is correct for video and audio)....i'm also gonna add spinners to it so you can assign values to the 0's.....its just i need some help coding it and both my friend and i have been really busy

they should make this simpler.
if you have a .mp3 in the picture folder, the PCH should just play those mp3.s
how hard is it to do for PCH?

well its really pretty easy...you just sorta got to get the hang of it.

I know some of the people here are great with HTML coding, etc.

but how about the average user (not me, i am about 7 from 1 to 10).

there should be an option in popcorn that says use the music from the folder itself.

I have just bought PCH and playing music together with photos is a need; I saw this at friends houses with other less powerful and cheaper players.
After reading the many posts in this thread I must say that all of you are really good in HTML, scripts, coding etc. Congratulations .
But I agree to what yellow360f said: we need something really simpler to play photos and music together, just an option in PCH or mp3's put somewhere (this is the normal option I saw in other players).
I bought PCH to have fun not to develop software and scripts! For sure I will not be able to prepare and run all things written here! Sorry....
Is there any info/plan from PCH developers on this please?

that application will do everything for you automaticly...make playlists...get album art...make the htmls...etc etc.
