I am on a wired 100mb network,
the whole unit freezes and i have to unplug the power

has anyone experienced this problem with youtube service on PCH A110?

There were improvements to youtube freezes in the last firmware IIRC, this has not transferred to the A110 yet. The current beta also has a buffer size that you can change which if you set larger than the default also helps.

Do you mean the one that i have, or the beta coming out for A-110?
Is Beta considered what ships default from factory with A-110?

next firmware should be ready this week i hope qa makes some tests on it when they finish it then it will be avaible

is that the finished firmware or is that beta for the beta users to test it first and then you make a final version later?

nono beta firmware is only for a100 after a100 gets an final, then we start to make the firmware for a110 and b110, there it needs some changes because we need some different drivers, after that the qa starts testing everything, when they are ok with it it gets final, normaly this process takes around 1 week

when qa says ok then this week if something dont works as it should then it will be next week

I'm having this problem on a A110 with the latest firmware, was the fix not released for the A110 yet? I'd say it happens on every 3rd video approximately. I don't know if it's related to time duration or number of videos played.

EDIT: I was testing some more and discovered that these freeze ups occur with more than just YouTube, it seems to be many of the Internet origined streams. NFS, SMB, MythTV are all okay. I can still access the unit via http://192.168.0.100:8883/preferences.html for example, so the kernel appears to be ok. There must be a bug in the Popcorn Hour GUI for lack of better terms. Can one of the devs please look into this? Thanks.

EDIT 2: More testing has revealed that the unit is not locking up. Pressing the stop key repeatedly will bring me back to the MSP menu. I suppose there is some problem with the buffering of these streams. I hope the devs will address this in the upcoming firmwares.
