Is this an NMT mediaplayer?
I just saw this player on the website below and it looks like an NMT mediaplayer, is it an NMT?

http://www.kaiboerhd.com/views.asp?hw_id=395

It has this apple product look. Don't you agree?

WOW, another NMT?? This one is easily one of the best looking, though I wouldn't call it Apple-like.

RE: Is this an NMT mediaplayer?
Very nice design - IMHO the best of all the NMT sollutions.
I like both the white and the black.

But - I dont like that there are no link to firmware, mediaserver software or anything - there download section and support section is just empty or have numb ffddffddff inputs, and there wiki are blank.

Not a player I would buy if theres no way to get firmware updates or support or anything.
If Kaiboer had the same commitment to supplying these basic things as Popcorn Hour then I would buy one.

Living room: C200/A200/A100 HDMI to Pioneer KURO KRP-500A plasma / Denon AVR 3808 / KEF 5005.2 / B&W DM685
Kids room: C200/A110 HDMI to Panasonic 42PZ85, Optical to Logitech Z5500.

PLEASE READ THE WIKI

Hmm.. one thing in the spec sheet makes me wonder..... is digital TV reception via USB dongle on it's way?!?

"- 2x USB 2.0 Host ports (supporting playing the media files from external CD ROM/DVD ROM/Portable HDD/USB storage/WIFI card/DMB-TH)"

That last entry in that list is a digital tv broadcast standard.. "DMB-TH"...

Yeah that's how I feel about it, seems like no current support at all, but then again, it looks like they're brand new. I'm interested in the other players mentioned the 200 and 300.

Also, the 009 looks GREAT!!!!

Remote and on screen menus look like the popcorn hour. They got their logo on the screen.

It's all in their manual.

RE: Is this an NMT mediaplayer?
Could it be a slot for CI module (CAM) at right hand side ?

Hopefully DVB-T receivers will also be supported, along with HE-AAC sound,
then this would be the ultimate set-top box for Norway and NZ Smile

Spec says there is SATA interface on the right side. The opening is so wide to contain both SATA power and signal cables next to eachother.

RE: Is this an NMT mediaplayer?
There is a thread in this forum which gives a pretty good overview of the device.

http://www.mpcclub.com/modules.php?name=...orum&f=204

I have actually ordered one myself and it is shipped so it should be with me in a couple of days.

Hmmm... It doesn't support internal HDD. That's bad.
