RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
Tomorrow I will reboot, hold on to your huvudbonader.
![]() Two oddities noticed: 1. When browsing through directories using the Aquarius skin, the highlighter bar (with the white glow) is not visible on some directory pages. Has anyone else noticed the same thing, and any idea of why this happens? 2. I just tried to play back a DVD structure from rars (over the wired network, located on my Mandriva PC). In fact it happened to be the same DVD I borrowed from you a few months ago, DC. Playback started, but with only audio, no video. When I pressed stop, the video was visible for a split second before returning to the directory. Media tank:A-100 & C-200 TV:Panasonic TH-50PY800MT (HDMI) Audio:Logitech Z-5500 (Coaxial) |

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
1. Can't recall noticing that. Will keep an eye out. But what do you mean by some directory pages? Do they contain something other than dirs? Is it the last page of the dir list in that ROOT? Or have you noticed some other commonality?
2. Can't remember if I ever tried to play that one with llink. It's a TV recording made into an ISO if I recall correctly? Hmm, you should try with some others. Audio, video, disco - I hear, I see, I learn. Wiki. Wiki? Wiki! |

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
1. that is a c-200 and llink issue. It happens if there is a ' in a directory name. The scroll bar disappears. It does not happen on the A series.
2.Next time you try a dvd add -v 255 to start llink. and post the log. |

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
With the new firmware for the A100 released today, it now supports external SUB/IDX files for all file types.
Unfortunately I am told it does not work over http (at least for myiHome). Does anyone know if they work with llink or if not, can it be made to work? |

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
argh please say this isnt true, I've been waiting for sub/idx forever and now it's not supported over http, bah so this basicly means even if syabas fixes srt support over http for c200, sub/idx over http seems not likely as they probably use the same codebase
I'm starting to loose patiens

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
Well I think something with the c200 still crash's llink. Every time it crashes my core files were off as i keep forgetting to set system wide core on and not just that session.

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
I've now rebooted three times, and each time the script tux99 put together seems to start llink just fine.

Is it only with ' ? I ask because the only out of the ordinary signs in folder names I found were [ and , and ] ... would they also cause the same behaviour? Also, now I have a situation where if I on my XP computer browse to http://192.168.1.20:8001 I get llink showing fine in my web browser, but 'llink-daemon' does not show up in the C-200 anymore since I did the firmware update (and since I rebooted the Linux machine - not sure which of these two things caused the daemon not to show). Is this likely to be a port problem again? Media tank:A-100 & C-200 TV:Panasonic TH-50PY800MT (HDMI) Audio:Logitech Z-5500 (Coaxial) |

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
Problems using llink under ubuntu 9.10. Been trying to get it running for some days now but without luck. The daemon is visible from the popcorn hour and the computer shows that something is open and running on the correct port. Attempts trying to connected results in "Request cannot be processed" on the popcorn and "page can not be displayed" in a regular webbrowser.
If running with -v 8191 i can't find any errors. It seems to find all skins and config files and be able to list directory. It also shows attempted connects where it tries to show some output i think but nothing is shown on screens. Here is some output from the terminal. Quote: /usr/local/bin/llink -w /usr/local/etc/llink -d -v 8191 And then as said if trying to connect you can see the daemon trying to process the request and spamming out everything from Downloads. Anyone have some ideas? EDIT: SOLVED. The problem was the path to unrar. When compiling from source the neccessary step of copying unrar from /usr/local/bin/unrar to /usr/local/etc/llink was missing. Hopefully it helps someone in the future. |
