A100 and TVerseity

Hi Guys, newb in the house,

I got the fallowing problem, i got installed tversety in my pc and i'm streaming over my network, my A100 used to detect it automaticly but for not reason it just stopped detecting TVersity anymore, i have checked all the configurations in both sides and i see averything is ok, my other equipments can find TVersity but my A100 wont, any ideas?

Did you try to open the firewall on your PC? Enable "UpnP" option on your router? IP is static on your PCH?

It looks like the current PCH firmware is very bad for autodetecting any UpnP server. E.g., since the last upgrdae, my PCH can never autodetect myihome running on my PC (and my other players, old Linktheaters, detect both myihome and tversity perfectly.) The only solution for now is to add the direct link to the Web Services section on your PCH, e.g.

http:\\192.168.0.2:8000

(Substitute the IP and the port with your numbers.) You'll need to scroll to this link every time you reboot PCH.

Now that you mention it.... everything started after i did the update in my A100 i did not realise it until now... oh well... i'll go and do what you said, thank you!!

I dont know why.. i updated to the latest firmware and it back again... oh well im glad.

It may seem to work for a while, but after a couple of reboots (for both PC and PCH) you may lose it again...
