Kroozbox is a PVD (Personal Video Database) and Jukebox generator developed by Nono, based on Java.
The application let's you easily generate templates from a SQL database to NMT frontend.
Support for:
- SSDP (UPNP)
- HTTP transport.
- Firebird DB
- MySQL
- Template for PVD as Video Jukebox
- Template for Music Jukebox
- Easy HTTP to SQL language integration

The goal was to have access to PVD directly from the NMT without any export and remashing of the data (as had to be done using YAMJ and some other Jukeboxes). The system is completely open so you can make your template to have access to any database that you want.
Included in the package is a driver for Firebird and MySQL databases and a template for PVD access. A small PVD file is included as well, so it can be tested just by starting it without any configuration. Templates can be done for any database system that is SQL based (Music, Video, Yellow pages, etc).
For those who don't know PVD. it is a free video database utility similar to the known "Collectorz". You can get PVD at: http://www.videodb.info (highly recommended).
