Have you just laid your hands on a Networked Media Tank?

For many new users the world of digital media is a real challenge. Gone are the days when one simply inserted a disc and pressed play to watch a movie. Why does it have to be so hard? Why doesn't it work? And then there is all the new terminologies and abbreviations to be learned; container, codec, transport stream, NFS and resolution - just to mention a few.

Don't panic! Investing a little time in research will save you a lot of frustration.

On this Wiki, as well as on the NMT forum a lot of things are explained through tutorials and FAQ's and friendly advice.

The NMT devices are shipped with a brief Quick Start Guide, it will help you through the most basic setup. But for some the first challenge starts already when connecting the cables.
